since deployment

We said goodbye to Daryl on the 3rd between 2 and 5 am when he got on the buss and drove into the distance.  the worst moment of my life!!!!! i had to try and keep myself together but couldnt and started hyperventilating and crying so hard i had to take a minute to calm down so i could buckle kaleb into his car seat and get back to the hotel to get a few more hours before my long day ahead!! we slept till about 10am and signed out of the hotel before 11am. went to a friends house and watched the 1st session of conference, and headed out for the long drive to West Point. kaleb slept about half the drive and was an angel the rest!! we made it to Daryls brothers house and kaleb got to see his cousins uncle david and aunt Lori for the first time. after a few days stay it was time to go to the airport. we arrived 3 hours early and made it to the gate less than 5 min before we boarded. Thanks to a wonderful woman i was able to have some support and help all the way to the gate!! THANK YOU LORI! the flight was good and we made it, without too many problems, HOME to my parents house.
Since arriving Kaleb has been really clingy to my Dad and brothers and ofcoarse Me. anytime i go out of his sight he starts bawling! His vocabulary is taking off, he has been learning and doing so much i love watching the new things that he does and hearing his little voice. saying works like "Bawoon" (balloon) and "Gampa" (grandpa) =) just 2 of the many new things he says! He loves his baby cousin McKay and wants to play with him like a doll and loves giving hugs. =) But he get jealous really quickly and wants to be held by the person holding the baby. lol. Although kaleb misses his daddy very much he has been progressing well! between Daddy leaving and the time we arrived here i was worried that he was digressing to much cause he wasnt hardly saying words anymore. But all is turning out great!
We finally got Kaleb into a doc apt and got him weighed and measured. He is a very small baby which i already knew. but he is in the 6th percentile in his weight. and even though he is still chubby and hasnt been losing weight the doc is nervous. and wants me to try to fatten him up. i have no idea what to do he eats constantly. and he eats lots of fattening foods. docs want me to continue to try and give him Vitamin D milk but when i try he deosnt drink anything at all. oh well all i can do is try.
We have heard from daryl a few times since he was left and so far everything has been good! he is safe and he just arrived to his final destination. WE LOVE AND MISS HIM very much and wish that he didnt have to leave but we are doing well! i have been blessed to have such and amazing family and friends to support me!! so Thank you everyone!!
